OORJA 2013 : Thank You Bash [1]

The newcomers of the IIS University organised a thank you bash ‘Oorja 2013’ on 14th of Sept’13 to show gratitude to their seniors for the welcome party hosted by them. The event, which had a host of cultural presentations, saw freshers dancing to the tunes of Indian & Western numbers. An investiture ceremony was also conducted in which the Student Council for the session 2013-14 was announced. Garima Surana of BJMC Sem. V was nominated as the Head Girl of the UG Council and Shraddha Choudhary of MBA Sem. III was appointed as the Head Girl PG Council 2013-14. The cultural Head from UG Council was Hiteshi Bhatia and Srija Singh and Shivani Sharma were nominated as Cultural Heads, PG Council.

The ceremony was followed by a Dance Party which was enjoyed by one and all. The juniors crowned Garima Surana as Lady of the Evening & Twinkle Wahi got the title of Ms. Charming.
